A Daughter’s Advice

I told my daughter about my new blog – a place for constructive feedback rather than our standard ‘nice quilt’.  She said, “The internet is a dark and scary place.  You may want to leave the quilters alone.  A place for niceness is not a bad thing.”  🙂

  1. Ah, but constructive comment can also be nice. “Criticism” can be nasty, but “constructive” should remove the nasty.. That something can be improved (and how it might be) is a good thing–espcially if the opportunity to speak it is while a piece can be modified (or if not, if the idea can be applied to another quilt).
